Your Privacy on StriideAi
StriideAi is for athletes — including young players
We want you to understand what happens to information about you when you use StriideAi.
Right now StriideAi is only for coaches and scouts aged 18 and over. When athletes can join, anyone who needs it will have a parent or guardian approve their account first, just like in the Striide app.
What information do we use?
We may need things like:
- your email;
- your avatar;
- your age range;
- your sport and level;
- what you want to improve;
- what training you complete; and
- videos you choose to record for practice.
We try not to ask for information we do not need.
Why do you ask about my age and sport and level?
We use this information to make training more suitable for you.
For example, a drill that is right for an advanced older player may not be right for a younger player who is just starting.
Do you sell my information?
No.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles about you.
Does AI know who I am?
When StriideAi uses AI for certain sporting recommendations, we do not deliberately send your:
- name;
- email;
- phone number; or
- StriideAi account ID
to the AI provider.
We send only the sporting information needed to help create the recommendation.
Please do not type private, medical or contact information into an AI question box.
What happens to my AI questions?
AI question and response content is kept for a limited period and can be deleted under StriideAi’s normal deletion process.
Technical audit information may be kept for longer so we can keep the service safe, reliable and working properly.
What about my practice videos?
If you choose to record a practice video, it is stored so that the practice or review feature can work.
Practice videos are normally kept for no more than 30 days, and they may be deleted sooner when a review has finished and the video is no longer needed.
You can also delete your video earlier.
Practice videos are not sent to OpenAI. They are checked by AI that runs in StriideAi's own secure Google Cloud space, and they are never used to train anyone else's AI.
Can I delete my information?
Yes.
You or your parent/guardian can ask us to delete your StriideAi account.
Some records may need to be kept for legal reasons, but we do not keep personal information just because storage is available.

If anything about privacy is unclear, ask a parent, guardian or another trusted adult.
